As Fall begins, we want to welcome some new comers and old friends to our professional quartet.
Soprano Jennifer Kayner Honan is an accomplished performer, educator, and vocal coach based in the New York City area. Known for her expressive artistry and versatility, she has built an active career spanning opera, contemporary music, and concert performance. Recent operatic engagements include Lucy in Menotti's The Telephone at the International Summer Opera Festival of Morelia, Dater No. 15 in Michael Ching's Speed Dating Tonight with Buffalo Opera Unlimited, Frasquita in Bizet's Carmen with Clyde Opera in Glasgow, Scotland, and her debut with Opera Atlantic Company in NJ. In 2025, she also appeared in the Verdi Marathon in Busseto, Italy with Regium Lepidi Opera.
An enthusiastic advocate for contemporary music, Jennifer has collaborated with composer Stephen and Robert Bruce, premiering and recording new works. In 2024, she released three songs by Shewan, recorded with pianist Shane Schag, and distributed on major digital platforms. She has also appeared in recital at notable venues, including a performance of Charles Ives songs at the composer's birthplace in Danbury, Connecticut, commemorating the 150th anniversary of his birth.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Roberts Wesleyan University, and a Master's of Music Degree from Manhattan School of Music. Alongside her performance career, she remains an active recitalist, church musician, educator, and vocal coach, bringing a deep commitment to musical excellence and artistic collaboration.
Amanda Larsen is an accomplished mezzo-soprano recognized for her versatile vocal talents across operatic roles and prominent choral performances.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Vocal Performance from Hofstra University and has continued to hone her craft through prestigious programs, including the Oyster Bay Music Festival and serving as a Choral Scholar at St. John’s of Lattingtown. On the operatic stage, Amanda has brought vibrant characters to life with the Delaware Valley Opera Company and the Hofstra Opera Theater. Her notable roles include Chorus in Orfeo ed Euridice, Lucy in Hotel Casablanca, Sesto in La Clemenza di Tito, Olga in Eugene Onegin, Baba in The Medium, and Hansel in Hansel und Gretel.Equally at home in concert settings, Amanda currently serves as the Assistant Alto Section Leader for the Allentown Symphony Chorus and frequently performs as an Alto 2 vocalist with the Pocono Concert Chorale and the Hofstra University Chamber Choir. Her exceptional artistry has been recognized with the William B. Lawrence Honors Recital distinction and the Goldie Falcoff Cohen Memorial Scholarship. Over the course of her developing career, she has collaborated with distinguished conductors such as David Fryling and Diane Witry, as well as celebrated directors including Mikhaela Mahony and Isabel Milenski.
Anthony Cinelli, tenor, is a cum laude graduate of Rhode Island College with a Bachelor of Arts in performance, where he was a scholarship recipient for voice and theater and awarded the American Musical Theater Award. He has performed extensively with numerous ensembles throughout the northeast, New York metropolitan region and has toured nationally. As an early music scholar and sacred music specialist, he has been a section principal and featured artist in a breadth of performance ensembles over thirty years. Anthony is currently tenor/counter tenor solo artist in the Schola Cantorum of St. Mary's-In-Tuxedo Episcopal Church in Tuxedo Park, NY as well as tenor section principal and guest solo artist for Bronx Concert Singers in Parkchester, NY. Future engagements include Messiah at the West Point Cadet Chapel in December 2026.
