With Black Tie he has shared the stage with the likes of Melba Moore at Carnegie Hall\; Sylvia Sims and Ann Hampt on Callaway at Town Hall\; and Noel Pointer at Avery Fisher Hall\; and per formed on radio and appeared on a number of TV shows such as The Joan Rive rs Show. He has recorded with a wide range of artists from cabaret to pop including – Jazz Composer\, Anke Helfrich\; Cabaret Artist\, Natalie Dou glas\; Salsa Singer\, Michael Stuart\; and Salsa Star\, Marc Anthony. \nB elden Bullock  - Bass\nGraduate of Berklee College of Music. Born in Bost on Massachusetts\, resides in Teaneck New Jersey.  Belden has traveled th e world and toured with many artist. Barnes attended Rutgers University where studied jazz piano with K enny Barron who he cites as a major influence.\n Furthermore\, Barnes has performed with trumpeter Duane Eubanks\, trumpeter  Phillip Harper\,  J oel Frahm\, and the T.S. Monk Septet\, among others. Barnes has also perfo rmed with vocalists Mikki Braden\, Judy Bady\, and  actress/vocalist Jane t Huber from the popular television sitcom\, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Ai r”.\nIn 2008 Barnes recorded his second album as a leader entitled “Wa ndering Spirits”\, featuring the dynamic bassist Reuben Rogers and the l egendary drummer Lewis Nash\, showcasing  his original compositions and a rrangements of jazz standards from the great American songbook.  \n“Dre Barnes is an impressive dedicated Jazz Pianist and Composer who delivers his choice notes with a firm touch and potent rhythmic heft” Zan Stewart \, The Star ledger\n“Dre Barnes’ music is the top of the walk quality Jazz piano and as such\, he’s part of an august group and a wonderous tr adition that’s part of an up and coming new wave of Jazz Pianists” Jaz z Improv New York\nBarnes has performed with his trio and quartet at some of new York’s finest jazz clubs including Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola\, Jaz z at Lincoln Center\, and  the Kitano  jazz club. \nJarrett D. Walser - Drummer\, Composer\, Educator\nJarrett Walser is a musician who brings a vibrant sensitivity\, rich nuance\, and expressive style to the drums. His ease and versatility in several genres (jazz\, rock\, R&\;B\, funk) ma ke him a highly sought-after drummer. As a band member of Billy Carrión ’s\, Higher Standards\; Lance Bryant &\; SHOUT!\;  Sacred Machines\; U.L.T.R.A. S.\; and Vethaken\; you can hear the infusion of those styles on display.\nAt the age of three\, what started as a curious\, playful orc hestration on pots and pans grew into a passion. Jarrett’s first love ha s always been jazz. This allure continued at age 11 when he began studying at NJPAC TD Jazz for Teens program in 2001. After his studies at NJPAC\, he continued to pursue his passion for music at Rutgers University\, Mason Gross School of the Arts\, where he received his B.A. (2012) and M.M. (20 17) in Jazz Performance. Jarrett has made a career playing with various ar tists over a wide variety of genres\, from jazz to rock to theater. Some n otable artists Jarrett has performed with include bassist Rufus Reid and K enny Davis\, trumpeters Valery Ponomarev and Eddie Allen\, vocalist Carla Cook\, and Chico Freeman\, to name a few.\nWhen not performing\, Jarrett i s an educator at The Whitney E. Houston Academy of Creative and Performing Arts\, NJPAC\, and His &\; Her Music\, where he shares his love of mus ic and inspires the next generation of young artists.
